I guess it is time for an update.....

My wonderful friend Jennilynn informed me last night that my blog is waaay overdue for an update so like a good little girl here I am updating.
We have had a lot of fun this summer spending our days at Roaring Springs, boating and spending the weekend in Cascade at our Cabin Lot. After all that fun we are making our way back into our normal schedule again.
Shelby just started 1st grade and she is loving it, she enjoys being there all day and eating lunch at school as well as the fact she gets to have 3 recesses.
Poor Toby is stuck at home with me all day. We have been attempting to do preschool at home but that isn't going to well. For any of you who know my Turbo I am sure you understand.
Ben is busy as always with work and working on cars on the side. He has finished most of our bedroom now, all we really have left is a vanity for our master bath.
I am 31 weeks pregnant and counting down the days now. We are having another boy, the kids are very excited. I have been attempting to work on my nonexistent sewing skills making some nursing cover ups that turned out cute, burpers that were cute until I washed them and they shrunk a little more then I had hoped and now quilts which are about stressing me to tears.
I am just trying to keep myself busy to pass the next two months until this little guy gets here. I think we are all more then ready to see him and have him in our home.

So glad to hear your update! How exciting to be having another little boy. We're right behind you (I'm at 24 weeks now) but with a little girl. We're expecting her around Christmas time so I'm going crazy trying to get all my projects and Christmas stuff done plenty early (I have a tendency to have my babies early anyway) so I can just focus of our new bundle of joy when she comes. I wish you luck with your projects as well - I have those same skills at sewing - nonexistent. :)

You sewing skills are no longer non-existant. You most definitely have been "nesting" in the last month. Hang in there!
